Job Description
We ensure the IT operations for over 700 employees serving 17,000 AOK users in the German states of Bavaria (AOK Bayern), Saxony, and Thuringia (AOK PLUS). Our service spectrum ranges from the complete operation of technical systems, application support, and customer service to consulting and development. Your Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the deployment, updating, and maintenance of applications.
- You will investigate and analyze problems in complex container environments.
- You will automate operational and deployment processes and integrate them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
- You will configure and expand monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace) to proactively identify errors and initiate appropriate responses.
- You will collaborate with our customers, gather requirements, and contribute your own ideas for future solutions.
Your Profile
- You have completed vocational training in IT with relevant professional experience or have a degree in IT.
- You have in-depth experience with Red Hat OpenShift or other Kubernetes distributions and are proficient in Kubernetes deployments, including rollouts, rollbacks, and resource management.
- You are experienced in troubleshooting Kubernetes environments, for example, with pod failures, network issues, storage problems, or performance topics.
- You have strong Linux administration skills, ideally with SUSE and Ubuntu.
- You can conduct professional conversations in fluent German (C1).

- Remuneration according to the Bundesangestelltentarifvertrag AOK/Neu (entry level depending on recognized professional experience with pay group 9 starting at approx. €65,000 gross/year, advancement after familiarization to pay group 10 starting at approx. €70,000 gross/year) including holiday and Christmas special payment (13th-month salary).
