Security Engineer

Security Officer | Remote (Europe)

We're partnering with a high-performance, cloud-native SaaS company looking for a hands-on Security Officer to own and evolve their end-to-end security posture.

This is a high-impact role bridging compliance, architecture, and engineering security in a modern multi-cloud environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Own and prioritise the security backlog, translating risks into engineering actions
• Lead and scale the Security Champions programme across engineering teams
• Conduct architectural risk assessments across cloud and application layers
• Maintain audit readiness for SOC 2, GDPR, and related frameworks
• Oversee multi-cloud security across AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Manage vulnerability management, pentesting, and bug bounty processes
• Support customer security reviews and questionnaires

What they're looking for:

• 5+ years in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or similar in SaaS
• Strong hands-on experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Proven ownership of SOC 2, GDPR, and security policy frameworks
• Experience with threat modelling and distributed systems risk analysis
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
• Self-starter mindset with strong technical curiosity
