IT Network Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and planning of the Cisco network infrastructure (switching, routing, WLAN). You will continuously develop and manage network connections for various locations and buildings. You will proactively monitor network utilization and independently diagnose and resolve faults. You will also participate in future-oriented IT projects for the modernization and expansion of the entire infrastructure and occasionally provide technical support in the telecommunications environment (e.g., VoIP and telephone systems).

Your Profile

• Successfully completed training or studies in the IT field (or a comparable practical qualification).
• Good knowledge in the areas of switching, routing, and WLAN (Cisco).
• Practical experience with common network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, EIGRP).
• Confident German language skills (written and spoken, C1/C2 level) and a Class B driver's license.
• Nice-to-have: Basic knowledge in the telecommunications environment (VoIP, SIP) is a plus.
