Responsibilities

Your new challenge at our Dortmund and Menden sites:

  • Consulting & Support: You are the first point of contact for managers and employees within your defined area of responsibility. You provide comprehensive advice on labor and collective agreement law issues and guide change processes with foresight and empathy.
  • Labor Law Measures: You actively shape labor law measures – from hiring to termination – and ensure legally compliant and fair solutions in close coordination with management.
  • Cooperation with the Works Council: You contribute your communication skills to the collaboration with the Works Council, negotiate at eye level, and participate in future-oriented works agreements. You also create ERA job descriptions together with the specialist departments.
  • Strategic HR Work: You contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and personnel concepts, drive modern HR initiatives, and derive improvement measures based on HR KPIs.
  • Employee Lifecycle: You support all phases of the employee lifecycle as 3rd-level support, ensuring a positive employee experience – from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Recruiting & Employee Retention: You manage the recruiting process, develop measures for employee retention, and implement them successfully – with the goal of attracting and retaining talent long-term.
  • Personnel Development: You design effective development measures for employees and managers, support individual learning processes, and assist in implementing practical development formats, e.g., through concepts for leadership training.
  • Conflict Management: You moderate personnel challenges and contribute to a constructive working environment through a solution-oriented approach.
  • HR Process Design: You rethink HR processes, contribute your ideas, and implement modern, efficient standards together with the team.
  • Administration & Organization: You maintain an overview of administrative HR topics and manage, for example, the creation of contracts, coordinate BEM processes, and contribute your structured working style to reporting.

Requirements

Your Profile:

  • HR Expertise: You have a completed degree in Human Resources, Business Law, Psychology, or a completed apprenticeship with subsequent further training in the HR field.
  • Practical Experience: You have several years of experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a collective agreement environment and in cooperation with Works Councils.
  • Consulting at Eye Level: You see yourself as a sparring partner for managers and employees and convince with your solution-oriented, empathetic, and reliable communication.
  • Labor Law Know-how: You have excellent knowledge of labor and collective agreement law and apply your knowledge confidently in practice.
  • Team Player with Drive: You enjoy contributing to the team, think strategically, and are eager to actively shape HR processes.
  • Structure & Initiative: You work independently, maintain an overview even in complex situations, and proactively drive topics forward.
  • IT Affinity: You are proficient in using HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and MS Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Language Skills: You have very good German and English skills and communicate confidently and persuasively – both in writing and orally.
