Senior SEA Manager - Full Remote (m/w/d)

Department: Online-Marketing Location: Full Remote Experience: Professional Experience Salary: Negotiable

We owe our employees our shared success, which is why all managers at arboro have completed additional training as "Agile Leadership" with IHK certification. The management is also certified in professional leadership to establish appreciative and value-oriented leadership at eye level throughout the company.

And the best part: As part of arboro, you are also part of a change where people are focused on making a real difference, rather than just doing a job. And because it's about something bigger than any one of us, everyone contributes to the shared vision.

Do you live and breathe Performance Marketing, think in terms of conversions, KPIs, and bidding strategies -- and at the same time feel comfortable in direct customer communication? Then we at arboro have the perfect place for you. We are looking for a Senior Account Manager (SEA) to take immediate effect, who will manage customer projects independently and develop our campaigns with a strategic outlook.

Must-have:

  • Successfully completed your studies or a comparable education in marketing, e-commerce, media, or business administration.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in SEA -- ideally in an agency or e-commerce environment.
  • Proficient in using Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and have a solid understanding of campaign structures, conversion tracking, attribution models, and bidding strategies.
  • Ability to interpret data, derive recommendations for action, and communicate them clearly -- both internally and externally.
  • Strong communication skills, confident presence in customer calls, and not afraid to take responsibility.
  • Very good German language skills (written and spoken) and the ability to communicate in English.
  • Analytical thinking, structured work approach, and a hands-on mentality.
  • No fear of using AI tools (e.g., for text creation, reporting, research).
  • Organized for remote work, independent, and able to integrate well into existing teams -- even with GIF replies in the team chat.
  • Eagerness to question and improve existing processes and become more efficient together with us.
  • Technology-open and enjoy trying out new tools and features to further develop our SEA work.
  • Regularly follow current developments in SEA, Google Ads & Performance Marketing -- "stagnation" is not an option for you.
  • Proactive and take initiative, enjoy tackling topics and sharing your knowledge with the team.

Nice-to-have:

  • Certifications in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or Analytics.
  • Experience with Google Merchant Center, Shopping campaigns, and feed optimization.
  • Practical experience in creating and presenting customer reports, strategy documents, and decision proposals.
  • Know-how in conversion tracking with Google Tag Manager and consent management tools.
  • Experience with A/B tests, landing page optimization, and CRO approaches.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, Social Ads, or web analytics.
  • Comfortable using Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets, and BI tools.
  • Experience leading workshops or conducting training sessions -- or the desire to do so.
  • Experience introducing or testing tools, e.g., for automation, feed management, or performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in scripting or automation within Google Ads (e.g., via Google Ads Scripts or third-party tools).
  • Experience in tool evaluation or piloting, e.g., feed tools, bid management systems, or AI-powered analysis tools.
  • Enjoy establishing best practices internally, documenting processes, and further developing them.
  • Curious about new advertising formats, platforms, and trends -- even outside the Google world (e.g., Amazon Ads, TikTok Ads, AI Search, etc.).

What a Senior SEA Account Manager does at arboro:

  • Planning, implementation, and optimization of SEA campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max).
  • Development and management of individual SEA strategies for our clients -- with budget responsibility.
  • Continuous monitoring and performance analysis based on KPIs and conversion goals.
  • Creation and maintenance of reports & dashboards for clients (e.g., with Looker Studio).
  • Direct point of contact for clients: consultation, coordination, and strategic development.
  • Preparation and execution of customer calls, presentations, and strategy meetings.
  • Identification of trends, potentials, and recommendations for action for better performance.
  • Close collaboration with the SEO, Content, Technology, and Project Management teams.
  • Support in internal further development, process optimization, and potentially mentoring juniors.
