Retail Brand Marketing Specialist – EMEA (m/w/d) - Fixed Term 6 months
Your Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:
As the Retail Brand Marketing Specialist-- EMEA, you are responsible for the implementation of the Retail Brand Marketing strategy for the Brand's Retail spaces (Brand Stores and Factory Outlets) and for the Branded Spaces of selected Wholesales partners all along the instore consumer journey (attract, engagement, conversion levels). Your understanding of the Retail and Wholesale landscapes enables you to excite the consumer and connect them to our Brand and product through premium retail experiences.
This position is a fixed-term contract for 6 months. Starting date : as soon as possible. The role is based out of our Garching office, near Munich and is open to hybrid remote work (2 days at the office -- 2 days at home - 1 day home/office) . Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany. The contract is designed with the expectation of potential transition to a permanent role after six months.
Meet Your Future Team:
The EMEA Marketing team is composed of a passionate group of professionals, all with an international background. The main objective of the department is to develop and execute consumer-facing regional and global strategies for the European markets.
In addition to reporting to the Senior Manager, Retail & Trade Marketing -- EMEA and working closely with the Retail & Trade Marketing team, you will be collaborating cross-functionally with team members from the Community, Experiences, Sports Marketing and Brand Comms teams in EMEA and the Retail Brand Marketing teams at HQ.
Core Activities:
- Implementing and localizing brand and seasonal campaigns including windows, in-store elements, graphics, and product communication for new and existing Stores within the EMEA Retail fleet (Brand Stores and Factory Outlets), and for selected Wholesales' and Branded Spaces
- Coordinating relationship with key external agencies, print vendors and installers, sourcing appropriate suppliers, negotiating prices and sales terms
- Supporting the EMEA Trade Marketing team with RBM input for seasonal marketing plans of key wholesale partners
- Supporting in the maintenance of showroom guidelines for product presentation and brand experience
- Ensuring premium and consistent brand storytelling in physical brand expressions aligning with current brand standards and brand focus
- Managing all in store POP, stores supplies productions and inventory for Retail Stores, selected wholesale partners, coordinating suppliers, budgets and parent orders
- Supporting consumer events Brand Experience activations and installations
- Owning and managing assigned budget
Future Responsibilities:
- Ensuring RBM roll-out plans align with EMEA integrated marketing plans, at EMEA Retail stores and Wholesale Branded Spaces
- Delivering RBM executions at Brand Retail Stores with a specific attention to localisation and stores' environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Design, or related field
- 3 years experience in Retail Marketing
- Proven success in a fast-paced, cross-functional integrated marketing environment, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and highly competitive industry
- Performance focused individual with experience working from concept to completion, dealing with ambiguity and working toward clarity, while maintaining high quality in outcomes and a strong sense of accountability
- Project Management expertise (ex: driving timelines and managing budget), strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to plan and prioritize
- Ability to establish relationships, collaborate and influence across all levels, functions, geographies - internal and external
- Strong understanding of a multi-brand, cross-functional, vertically integrated organization and of the EMEA market
- Knowledge of the sports apparel industry, ideally also of Arc'teryx
- Speaking German or French is an asset
