Stellenbeschreibung

About the Role

Do you want to see more than just a part of the project – do you want to have it completely in your hands? Then join ARGE Labor- und Objekteinrichtungen GmbH and take responsibility for our laboratory furnishing projects. As a Project Manager / Project Director / Project Controller (m/f/d), you will lead our projects from order intake to defect-free handover – technically, organizationally, and commercially. You make decisions, clarify interfaces, are responsible for execution details, and coordinate all parties involved – internally and externally, independently, reliably, and in direct exchange with customers, trades, and colleagues. You are not part of the process. You are the one who makes it possible.

Your Responsibilities

What awaits you with us? In your role, you will independently manage complex laboratory furnishing projects. You will coordinate internally and externally, keep track of commercial, technical, scheduling, and quality aspects, and successfully bring every project across the finish line – including clean billing and aftercare. You will work closely with our CAD team, purchasing, production, and assembly departments – but you will hold the project together. You will independently manage:

  • Project management from order intake to handover
  • Technical coordination with customers, architects, specialist planners & execution teams
  • Responsibility for deadlines, quality, budget, execution, and freedom from defects
  • Coordination of trades for furniture, electrical, sanitary, and special installations
  • Management of additional claims, budget monitoring & billing preparation
  • Leadership of project teams with technical draftsmen, project staff, and assembly teams
  • Participation in planning meetings, construction site meetings, acceptance inspections & handovers

Your Qualifications

  • Technical or commercial-technical training or degree (e.g., CAD technician, technician, civil engineer, industrial engineer, project manager, or similar)
  • Experience in project management of interior fit-out, building services, or laboratory furnishing projects
  • Sound technical understanding (e.g., furniture, electrical, sanitary, media supply)
  • Experience in dealing with customers, architects, and specialist planners
  • Knowledge of additional claims management, VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures), schedule planning, project controlling
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and assertive personality
  • Willingness to travel for project site visits & acceptances nationwide
  • Proficient in MS Office, ideally ERP systems

What Makes You Special

  • You have the big picture in mind – but you also know the details
  • You lead teams with clarity and trust
  • You recognize challenges early – and solve them before they become problems
  • You think technically, manage commercially – and remain human in the process
  • You bring what others delegate

Benefits

  • Permanent leadership position with high responsibility & appreciation
  • Exciting projects with technical depth and creative freedom
  • Attractive remuneration including expenses, allowances, and retirement provision
  • Company car as needed
  • Flexible working hours & home office option
  • Flat hierarchies, direct communication & reliable decisions
  • Collegial environment with a strong team spirit
  • Personal development & long-term prospects

Do you not just want to coordinate tasks – do you want to really drive projects forward? Do you think in terms of processes, maintain an overview, and find solutions when it matters? Then you are exactly right with us. With us, you don't manage standard projects – you accompany laboratory furnishings for research, teaching, and development, from the first step to the last screw. You hold the reins, bring people together, and ensure that everything is in the right place at the right time – technically and personally. Whether you are a structured all-rounder or an experienced project person with an eye for the big picture – if you want to take on responsibility and can count on a strong, appreciative team, you should get in touch with us. Lead the projects with us where tomorrow's research takes place – from order to handover.
