Your Responsibilities

• Building, operating, and further developing a scalable data platform (Warehouse / Lake / Lakehouse)
• Developing and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines for integrating diverse data sources
• Ensuring data quality, performance, scalability, and cost optimization
• Implementing monitoring, governance, and security concepts (including GDPR)
• Close collaboration with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams
• Automating data processes and continuously improving existing architectures
• Actively shaping the data strategy and evaluating new technologies

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in Data Engineering or a comparable role
• Very good programming skills in Python and SQL, as well as clean engineering standards (tests, CI/CD)
• Sound understanding of modern data architectures and data modeling
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and common data tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark, Snowflake)
• High quality and ownership mindset for productive data pipelines
• Ability to communicate technical solutions understandably and translate business requirements
• Team player with an interest in mentoring and continuous development
• Fluent English skills (required); German skills are a plus
