Arup is expanding its Project and Program Management team due to a strong project pipeline, with a special focus on projects in the Science, Industry & Technology sector.
The Opportunity
As a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Building Construction Science, Industry & Technology, you will independently lead projects through all planning phases and report to the Project Director as needed. Your location can be Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt am Main, or Düsseldorf, with the possibility of flexible, self-organized remote work.
Our Services Include:
- Client-side project management (project control)
- Management of projects for which Arup provides design services
- Management of strategic programs, e.g., portfolio-level site assessments
- Consulting on construction project standards and guidelines
As a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Building Construction Science, Industry & Technology at Arup, you will:
- Lead our multidisciplinary teams, primarily in the Science, Industry & Technology sector, for planning and construction projects.
- Act as the client representative or project controller in national and international projects, managing all project phases according to the AHO service description.
- Support our clients with a wide range of consulting services, e.g., in sustainability.
- Assist local office management in acquiring new projects.

- University degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Management.
- Relevant project references in the aforementioned areas of responsibility.
- 15 years of professional experience in project management, preferably in the Science, Industry & Technology sector, with a strong understanding of interdisciplinary projects.
- Strong assertiveness and confident demeanor.
- Fluent German and very good English skills.
- Experience in project management for manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical industry projects is a plus.
