Role Overview

ASETS is seeking a Senior Manager -- Account Management & Business Development to drive growth across key European semiconductor customers.

This is a hybrid "farmer hunter" role, combining strategic account ownership with proactive development of new business opportunities. The role is highly visible and requires strong commercial leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to navigate complex customer organizations.

You will be responsible for managing key accounts (e.g., IDMs, foundries, and advanced packaging players) while simultaneously expanding ASETS' footprint through new opportunities and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management (Strategic "Farmer")

  • Own and develop relationships with key semiconductor customers across the region
  • Act as the primary commercial interface between ASETS and assigned accounts
  • Drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term account strategies
  • Coordinate internally across service & process engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful execution
  • Monitor project execution, KPIs, and overall commercial performance

Business Development (Strategic "Hunter")

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Europe
  • Expand ASETS' presence in emerging applications such as advanced packaging, power semiconductors, and MEMS
  • Build, manage, and convert qualified opportunities into business
  • Participate in commercial negotiations, technology proposal development, with regional director
  • Strengthen ASETS' positioning as a flexible and competitive alternative to Tier-1 OEMs

Commercial & Strategic Execution

  • Develop and execute account plans, forecasts, and growth strategies
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs
  • Support pricing strategies and business case development
  • Contribute to partnership and channel strategies (agents, representatives, and ecosystem partners)

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8--12 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally in equipment process engineering, project management, account management, or business development
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., etch, deposition, advanced packaging, or related areas)
  • Proven experience in managing complex customer projects and interfacing with engineering, operations, service teams, and procurement teams
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial and operational solutions
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, including planning, execution, and KPI tracking
  • Good commercial awareness, with exposure to proposals, budgeting, or contract discussions (without requiring a pure sales background)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills across technical teams, customers, and management levels
  • Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote and dynamic environment
  • Experience in working with partners, agents, or multi-stakeholder environments is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (Business qualification is a plus)
