You Will

  • Support the full sales cycle for Continental Europe: prospecting, solution shaping, proposal development, negotiation, contracting, and launch.
  • Develop a high‑quality pipeline across target markets, using Salesforce to guide transparency and discipline.
  • Develop tailored win strategies for each market, reflecting local dynamics.
  • Work with UK and European teams — Product, Underwriting, IT, Operations, Compliance — to shape market‑appropriate solutions.
  • Partner with Marketing to create multilingual, data‑led campaigns that resonate with local audiences.
  • Support seamless handover to Account Management teams and ensure delivery of client commitments.
  • Represent Assurant at main European automotive events, building a network across OEMs, dealer groups, and industry associations.
  • Monitor and interpret market trends, regulatory changes, and shifts across Continental Europe.
  • Provide insight‑led recommendations to influence product development, commercial strategy, and investment decisions.

You Will Have

  • Deep experience in the automotive sector, with direct exposure to Continental European markets (OEM, dealer group, or major supplier).
  • Experience with automotive trends, market dynamics, customer behaviour, and distribution models across Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and wider Europe.
  • Working knowledge of insurance, financial services, or warranty models, including relevant European sales processes and regulations.
  • Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into commercial strategies, product opportunities, and growth plans.
  • Experience driving commercial growth and securing new business in multi‑market environments.
  • Experience of sales‑cycle ownership: prospecting, solution design, proposals, negotiation, contracting, and launch.
  • Experience with structuring and implementing win‑win partnerships with commercial and P&L understanding.
  • Ability to build and manage a disciplined pipeline, using Salesforce or equivalent platforms.
  • Ability to coordinate cross‑market plans, ensuring understanding of European Auto strategy.
  • A proven track record in stakeholder management across multiple functions such as Product, Underwriting, IT, Operations, and Compliance in a matrix environment.
  • Fluency in English, with additional fluency in either German, Dutch, French, Spanish or Italian.
