Product Specialist

Product Data Specialist (German Speaking) | 12-Month Contract | Remote Germany

We're currently supporting a global e-commerce and marketplace business in the search for a German-speaking Product Data Specialist to join their Catalogue Operations team on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to a few years of professional experience who enjoys working with data, content, and online marketplaces.

Main responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain product information within an online marketplace catalogue
• Support new product launches by uploading and validating product data
• Review product descriptions, attributes, and images to ensure accuracy
• Perform data quality checks and resolve catalogue issues
• Maintain German-language product information and localisation standards
• Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Engineering teams
• Support catalogue documentation and process improvements

What we're looking for

• Fully fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong attention to detail
• Good Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Interest in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, operations, or product data
• Interest in gaming, collectibles and trading card games (Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.)
• Experience with large datasets is beneficial
• Exposure to Jira, APIs, JSON, CMS or marketplace platforms is a plus
• Recent graduates and candidates with internship or early-career experience are encouraged to apply

Contract Details

• 12-month contract (possible extension)
• Start date: September
• Fully remote within Germany or office-based in Berlin
