What you can expect from the role

Your Role As Team Leader HR Operations (m/f/d), you will play a central role in shaping a modern, efficient, and service-oriented HR department. You will lead a dedicated team, drive the further development of our HR processes, and ensure an excellent employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. You will report directly to Rebecca, our HR Manager.

Your Tasks

  • Leadership of the HR Operations Team: Lead and develop the three-person team, fostering efficient collaboration and high service quality.
  • HR Operations & Service Excellence: Responsibility for all operational HR processes such as personnel administration, contract management, and onboarding/offboarding. Ensuring smooth HR services for employees and managers, and harmonizing processes across multiple countries.
  • Payroll & Time Management: Steer and ensure the quality of collaboration with the external payroll service provider. Resolve complex issues in payroll and time management, and ensure accurate and timely settlements.
  • Digitalization & Process Optimization: Identify and implement digitalization and automation potential, and introduce modern HR tools and systems.
  • Recruiting Process: Optimize and standardize the recruiting process, ensuring professional and efficient handling of all administrative steps.
  • Project Work: Participate in projects for the further development and standardization of HR processes, and provide flexible support for cross-departmental initiatives.

  • Completed degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in HR with a focus on HR Operations and recruiting process management.
  • Sound knowledge of payroll, time management, and HR systems.
  • Experience in process optimization and digitalization.
  • Leadership experience and a strong service orientation.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage complex topics in a structured manner.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, ideally knowledge of SAP/HR.
  • Very good communication skills in German and English.

Work Location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between mobile working and on-site in Essen.
