Your Responsibilities:
- Sales responsibility for the Bundeswehr and defence industry customers at the local level, managing order intake and revenue within the sales mandate of approximately €10 million annually (ER/OE).
- Identification of business needs and subsequent development and addressing of proposal ideas to customer contacts and decision-makers.

- Planning and execution of the proposal process, considering all customer requirements, critical points, and risks, with technical input from Bid Support within the division. Creating proposals with customer-specific adaptations and cross-divisional elements in coordination with Delivery.
- Management of the sales pipeline, independent and targeted maintenance and processing of opportunities in the CRM system, and regular reporting of sales performance.
- Steering service delivery in coordination with relevant divisions for existing business or contracts at the local/global level (existing business).
- Acting as the interface between the customer and Delivery for service provision in escalation situations and to ensure customer satisfaction, as well as responsible steering of the de-escalation process by leading a cross-divisional team.
Your Profile:
- Many years of experience within the Bundeswehr (e.g., SAZ 12) and/or professional experience in the defence industry, particularly with the German Army and its IT systems.
- Strong sales affinity with a drive to explore new sales channels, experience in proposal creation, and a deep understanding of operational customer business processes.
- In-depth knowledge of the Bundeswehr's procurement process (CPM).
- High willingness to travel to Bundeswehr and defence industry customer sites.
- Extensive knowledge of the Bundeswehr's IT landscape, current IT topics and trends, and future technologies.
- Self-directed, closing-oriented, and solution-focused approach. Creativity, dynamism, strong communication skills, goal orientation, strategic thinking, and leadership experience.
- Very good written and spoken German and good English skills.
