Role Overview

The Marketplace Account Manager role is designed to foster significant growth and success for medium to large accounts within AUTODOC's automotive product marketplace. This position involves cultivating and managing strategic customer relationships, leveraging data-driven insights for informed business decisions, and spearheading initiatives to enhance seller satisfaction and business performance. The Senior Marketplace Account Manager will serve as an internal advocate for sellers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded, while also contributing to the ongoing enhancement of AUTODOC's product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Management: Manage all aspects of the account management process for medium to large accounts, establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with key clients.
  • Seller Advocacy and Support: Act as the primary internal advocate for sellers, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Provide high-level support and strategic guidance to facilitate seller success.
  • Business Operations and Performance Analysis: Employ tools, systems, and processes to drive results throughout the seller lifecycle. Analyze key metrics and utilize data-driven insights to inform business decisions and optimize seller performance.
  • Product Expertise and Improvement: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of AUTODOC's products and the broader ecosystem. Identify product bugs, critical events, and opportunities for feature enhancements, driving resolutions and contributing to product development based on seller and customer feedback.
  • Competitive Analysis and Growth: Conduct thorough analyses of seller issues and the competitive landscape, providing recommendations to enhance seller and customer engagement and drive business growth. Develop and execute seller-specific account plans.
  • Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor colleagues, offering guidance and support to foster their skill development. Provide regular feedback and create opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or area.
  • Fluency in English and German. Proficiency in other EU languages (especially French, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish) is a significant advantage.
  • Relevant experience in e-Commerce.
  • Relevant experience in Sales and/or Account Management.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), Seller Portal tools, and platforms is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in Seller Onboarding or Support is a plus.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, results-driven approach, and autonomy, coupled with strong leadership qualities.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and efficient in task and process management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • A seller-centric mindset, with a proven ability to advocate for and support seller needs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
