Role Description

This is a full-time remote role based in Germany. The Research Fellow at Avant Health will gain hands-on experience in a broad range of research topics that centers around design and implementation of prospective research studies, scientific literature synthesis and scientific communications. The fellowship will enable the Research Fellow to sharpen their business acumen and research skills alike, while gaining knowledge of strategies to support Pharmaceutical/Biotech and healthcare industry stakeholder needs. The role will prepare the individual for a career in consulting, healthcare or life sciences sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects and help meet their deadlines
• Support ongoing research initiatives
• Conduct literature reviews
• Analyze market data
• Create research reports in PPT or MS Word formats
• Create publication materials, incl. abstracts, posters, manuscripts

Essential Qualifications

• A minimum of college or graduate degree with a focus in epidemiology, health services research, public health, pharmacy, health policy, healthcare administration, or similar
• Knowledge of literature search/evaluations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Report writing skills
• Native German language proficiency
• Currently living in Germany

Desired Qualifications

• Good project management skills
• Quantitative data analytic skills
• 1 to 2 years of prior research experience

This will be a fully REMOTE ROLE. Hence, aptitude, maturity and adaptability of the candidate to function under remote guidance is key and will be assessed as part of the candidate evaluation.

This is an entry-level 12 to 18 month contract-based position, which could be extended or converted to a full-time employee status, based on candidate's aptitude and performance.
