This role will work closely with global Finance and Operations teams to maintain efficient processes and support our continued growth."

YOUR DAILY WORK
- Working in hybrid work as part time
- Maintain and update accounting records, including general ledger, payroll, bank reconciliation, customer reconciliation, sales tax reconciliation, etc.
- Process accounts payable / accounts receivable in coordination with the finance team in Europe
- Complete a variety of data entry and reporting tasks related to day-to-day business operations
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to coordinate payments, shipments, and contracts
- Process accurate, timely bi-weekly payroll for all team member types (salaried, hourly, FT, PT, casual) with support of external payroll vendor
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports (T4s, payroll summaries), credit card reconciliation (AMEX)
- Liaise with local insurance, legal or other firms in support of the Americas business requirements
- Maintain policies, procedures and governance processes for multiple legal entities including ensuring compliance with internal policy and standardized delivery methodology
- Liaise with group benefit providers in Canada and the US for medical, 401K, RRSP, etc.
- Collaborate with Global Finance and Operational team to share best practices are ensure processes and policies are maintained consistently

By the third month, you will independently manage key Finance & Operations processes, including financial coordination, compliance tracking, and operational support. You will identify opportunities for process improvements, enhance reporting practices, and work closely with teams to strengthen operational efficiency in North American operations.
Ihr Profil
- 5+ years of experience as a Finance & Operations Professional
- Experience of managing the office environment and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our workplace
- Comfortable supporting budgeting, payroll reconciliation, and working closely with Finance
- Experience with company documents workflow and corporate governance
- Hands-on experience processing bi-weekly payroll in Canada and/or U.S., including compliance, remittances, and year-end reporting (e.g., T4s / W-2s)
- Experience working in culturally rich and diverse organizations (the US or LATAM preferred)
- Highly organized and exceptional time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to listen, collaborate, and build professional, inclusive relationships with varying audiences (staff, local authorities, colleagues - local and remote)
- Comfortable independently and collaboratively solving problems, making decisions, and supporting change
