Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Test Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our collaboration solutions.
This role focuses on maintaining automated test environments, executing structured and exploratory validation, and supporting compliance requirements. You will work closely with development teams to identify issues, validate fixes, and guarantee smooth operation of both automated and manual testing processes.
- Maintain automated test scripts and pipelines to support continuous integration and quality assurance.
- Perform regular maintenance of testing equipment and automated setups, including OS, software, and firmware updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve broken tests, configurations, and setups to keep automated tests running smoothly.
- Execute regulatory and compliance tasks (e.g., fire safety, electrical device checks, IT security guidelines).
- Install and configure new test setups for new product lines and generations.
- Monitor and report results from automated tests, highlighting anomalies and regressions.
- Investigate failing tests, regressions, and customer-reported issues; reproduce scenarios manually and file detailed bug reports.
- Validate bug fixes implemented by developers.
- Conduct end-to-end validation testing based on test plans for public releases, focusing on interoperability with third-party solutions.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and improve product quality.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance processes.
- Experience with test environment setup and maintenance (hardware/software).
- Familiarity with automated test systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work systematically and document findings clearly.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of video conferencing or collaboration solutions.
- Experience with compliance and regulatory testing standards.
- Basic understanding of networking and IT security principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Experience in scripting with Python.
