Mechanical / Development Engineer (m/f/d) -- Medical Technology
Location: Dresden area Employment Type: Full-time Work Model: Hybrid working available
This position is within a hands-on R&D environment and will focus on the development of mechanical and mechatronic assemblies, supporting products from early concept and prototyping through to industrialisation and series production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design and development of device components and assemblies
- 3D CAD design and creation of technical documentation
- Prototyping and optimisation for manufacturing and production
- Collaboration with production, quality, and suppliers during product industrialisation
- Supporting continuous improvement of development and design processes
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
- Experience in mechanical design and product development
- Strong 3D CAD skills (Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo or similar)
- Experience taking products from prototype into production
- Experience within medical devices or regulated industries is advantageous
- Fluent German and good English skills
