We are looking for an IT Controller / License Manager (m/f/d) to join us immediately at our Zeulenroda-Triebes location.

Your new responsibilities
- Preparation, monitoring, and analysis of all IT costs, starting with budget planning, followed by regular reporting, forecasting, and statements to identify deviations early on, as well as savings potentials and cost optimization opportunities.
- Management, control, and optimization of the entire IT contract and license management (including SAP, Microsoft) and cloud spending (FinOps) in close cooperation with the purchasing department.
- Support for IT projects, including through economic feasibility studies, cost management, and project controlling.
- Responsibility for cost center accounting (structure, rebookings, recharges, monthly reporting).
What you bring to the table
- Completed degree in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable field of study, as well as several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally with a focus on IT/license management.
- Ideally, existing knowledge/experience with IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL, project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), Software Asset Management (SAM), and/or Financial Operations (FinOps) and sustainable IT management (GreenOps).
- Independent, proactive work style with a strong understanding of numbers and high analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex issues understandably.
- Confident use of controlling and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Excel).
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken), good English skills are desirable.
