Position:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, we are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial sales personality to actively shape the company's further growth. The role offers the future position holder an exciting, long-term activity.

The position can also be operated from home office. Regular visits to the company site, as well as to customers, are a matter of course.

Tasks:

The core tasks of the future position holder (m/f/d) include:

  • Servicing and expanding sales channels in foodservice, out-of-home market & processing industry, retail and system gastronomy, travel catering, catering, snack and food vending machines, as well as the processing industry
  • Development of own concepts for the key account strategy (including conditions, promotional material investments for optimal exploitation of sales, revenue, and contribution margin potentials)
  • Implementation of customer development plans, holistic support of trade partners for the implementation of strategic goals
  • Expansion and development of business relationships in the area of customer structures to be managed at a supra-regional level
  • Responsibility for compliance with and implementation of price and conditions policy, as well as sales and budget planning
  • Participation in trade fairs and events
  • Competitor observation and derivation of potentials and trends with regard to customers and organization
  • Preparation and follow-up, as well as independent execution of negotiations and annual/strategic discussions

Profile:

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or business or economics degree
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in key account management in the foodservice, out-of-home market & processing industry sector
  • Robust network of contacts and market knowledge in the food sector (ideal: fresh/processed dairy products) at both trade and manufacturer level -- at regional/national level
  • Negotiation skills and customer orientation, combined with an entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting
  • Strong affinity for numbers; independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
  • High degree of initiative, strategic approach, and desire for pioneering work and building structures
  • Fluent German language skills, good English skills desirable
  • Confident use of MS Office applications
  • SAP knowledge highly desirable
