Technischer Mitarbeiter (m/w/d) IT-Systemelektroniker

Responsibilities

• Preparation, testing, piloting, and execution of end-device releases (pagers and radios)
• Participation in the introduction and support of digital alerting in Bavaria
• Commissioning and administration of software tools for updating digital radio end devices for authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS)
• Second-level support in the area of update systems and digital radio end devices through error analysis and user support
• Point of contact (m/f/d) for third-level support (end-device manufacturers)
• Creation of test plans, test specifications, and test procedures according to defined requirements for end devices and update systems of the BOS digital radio
• Analysis, checking, coordination, and release of end-device parameters
• Execution of quality measures
• Interface function for several internal projects and initiatives
• Point of contact (m/f/d) in the specialist department for involved IT partners and end-device manufacturers

Requirements

Must have:

• Completed studies as a Bachelor / Diplom-Ingenieur (m/f/d) (FH) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical degree program, or completed technical vocational training, e.g., as a Fachinformatiker (m/f/d) or IT-Systemelektroniker (m/f/d) with many years of professional experience, ideally with further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d)
• Interest in complex technical and organizational issues
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Proficiency in German, both written and spoken
• Sense of responsibility and teamwork skills
• Service-oriented demeanor
• Driving license class B and willingness for occasional business trips within Germany

Desirable:

• Experience in the area of specification, documentation, testing, and acceptance of software products
• Basic knowledge and/or prior experience in TETRA, mobile, or analog radio
• BOS experience (e.g., activities in the environment of volunteer fire departments, rescue services, disaster control, etc.)
