Your Responsibilities

• Department management at state building authorities or consultant roles at district governments
• Client responsibilities in planning, construction, maintenance, and renovation of state roads and civil engineering structures, involvement in infrastructure and transport planning
• Financial planning and controlling
• Project development and coordination of exciting large-scale construction projects
• Support for funding projects in the transport sector
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams

Your Profile

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Transport (Engineering), Structural Engineering, or a comparable field
• Teamwork skills, organizational talent, and a sense of responsibility
• Independent, solution-oriented work ethic and enjoyment of creative solutions
• Proficient use of Office software and very good German language skills (C2)
• EU citizenship
• Age limit: 45 years (at the end of the trainee program in mid-December 2028)
• Ideally, initial knowledge of HOAI, VOB, public construction law, project development, and/or relevant professional experience (not a requirement)

Our Offer

• 24-month trainee program as preparatory service for the civil service career in the 4th qualification level (Start: November 1, 2026)
