What you will be doing
======================
- Own technical delivery end to end: You will take responsibility for technical decisions, architecture, implementation quality, and delivery outcomes across client projects.
- **Stay hands-on in the codebase:**This is not a pure leadership role. You will actively build software, contribute directly to production code, and help shape solutions from the ground up.
- **Work closely with clients:**You will participate in client meetings, workshops, and technical discussions to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and propose pragmatic solutions.
- **Lead with autonomy:**You will act as a technical lead in different project settings, guiding engineers, unblocking challenges, and helping the team move quickly and effectively.
- **Balance engineering, architecture, and delivery:**Depending on the project and phase, your focus may lean more toward solution architecture, delivery leadership, technical consulting, or hands-on implementation, but always with direct ownership of the technical outcome.
- **Raise the technical bar:**You will contribute to code quality, maintainability, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- **Explore modern technologies:**You will evaluate and apply new technologies where they create real value, including AI-related use cases when relevant.
We need you to have

Must-have
- German at C2 level
- Experience in an agency, consultancy, or client-project environment
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead or in a comparable autonomous technical leadership role
- Strong hands-on fullstack development skills
- Ability to take technical ownership and work independently
- Confident communication with clients and cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English
Strong advantage
- Strong backend experience with scalable APIs and data modeling
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Svelte, or Angular
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD
- Knowledge of authentication and security concepts such as OIDC
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into software products
Nice-to-have
- Mobile development experience
- Infrastructure as Code experience such as Terraform or CDK
- Experience in rapid prototyping or innovation-driven projects
