About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Developer (m/w/d) to join our client's dynamic team based in Augsburg. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of healthcare technology, contributing to the development of advanced AI solutions that streamline documentation processes and enhance operational efficiency within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-based applications, with a particular focus on large language models and agentic AI frameworks. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, innovative thinking, and a collaborative mindset to develop solutions that have a meaningful impact on healthcare professionals and patients alike.
Qualifications
- A completed degree in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable field of study.
- Fluent German skills, both spoken and written (at least C1 level).
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in developing AI-based software solutions.
- Solid knowledge of Prompt Engineering and hands-on experience with Large Language Models (such as GPT-4, Llama, or similar).
- Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP and their managed ML/AI services.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python and C#.
- Strong teamwork skills within an agile environment, with a passion for innovative project work.
- Advantageous: Familiarity with Agentic AI Frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, MCP Server) and MLOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Further development of AI-based solutions aimed at simplifying documentation processes in the healthcare sector.
- Design and implementation of large language model-based applications, emphasizing prompt engineering and output quality.
- Building agentic AI solutions utilizing modern frameworks and methodologies.
- Development and optimization of machine learning pipelines and AI services within the Azure Cloud environment, including Function Apps, Azure AI, and Cognitive Services.
- Fine-tuning and customizing pre-trained models via Azure AI APIs to meet specific project requirements.
- Integration and operation of AI services, covering data preparation, deployment, and monitoring in production environments.
- Implementation and ongoing maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for AI services, following modern DevOps practices.
- Contributing to technical architecture decisions within the AI team to ensure scalable and efficient solutions.
