About The Role
We are currently looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team at KIND GmbH & Co. KG. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing the best solutions available in the market, tailored to meet project-specific needs. As part of an agile environment, you will support various teams by contributing your expertise in backend development, helping to build and enhance our innovative KINDcloud platform hosted on Azure. This platform is designed with a microservices architecture, laying the foundation for future applications and services. Your work will be integral to our digital transformation efforts, ensuring scalable, reliable, and efficient backend solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews, and leverage modern DevOps practices to deliver high-quality software products.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in agile software development, backed by a degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification. You should possess strong analytical skills and methodical competencies, enabling you to tackle complex backend challenges effectively. A passion for innovation, current technology trends, and continuous learning is essential. You must have excellent communication skills in German, with proficiency at least at the C1 level, to collaborate effectively within our team and with stakeholders. Prior experience with technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Azure Functions, Message Queues, and CosmosDB will be highly advantageous. Additionally, a proactive mindset and enthusiasm for supporting team growth and project success are key attributes we value.
Responsibilities
As a Backend Developer at KIND GmbH & Co. KG, your core responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining backend solutions tailored to project requirements. You will work with modern technologies like C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Azure cloud services to build microservices-based architectures. Your role involves actively participating in agile development cycles, including planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews, ensuring continuous improvement and delivery. You will contribute to the development of our KINDcloud platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices. Collaboration with frontend teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions is crucial. You will also be involved in implementing DevOps practices, automating deployments, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our backend systems.
