About The Opportunity

We are hiring a high-impact Freelance Content Writer to produce SEO-driven, audience-centred content for a consultancy serving international clients. This fully remote role (Germany-based) suits an experienced independent writer who thrives on turning complex topics into clear, persuasive content that drives leads and builds authority.

Role & Responsibilities

• Research and write clear, engaging long-form and short-form content (blog posts, guides, landing pages, case studies, and email copy) tailored to B2B and professional services audiences.
• Create SEO-optimised content using targeted keyword research and on-page best practices to improve organic visibility and conversions.
• Publish and format content in WordPress or other CMS, ensuring consistent structure, metadata, and internal linking.
• Collaborate with marketing, consulting, and design teams to align content with campaign goals, buyer journeys, and brand voice.
• Revise drafts quickly based on stakeholder feedback and deliver final copy that's ready for publishing under tight deadlines.
• Track content performance (traffic, engagement, conversions) and recommend iterative improvements to boost ROI.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Proven portfolio of published, B2B-focused content (links or attachments required)
• Native or near-native English writing and grammar skills
• Experience with SEO best practices and keyword-driven content creation
• Proficiency with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
• Strong editing and proofreading capabilities
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments independently

Preferred

• German language proficiency (reading and/or writing) for market-specific content
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or HR/talent mobility topics
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console) and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs)
