Your Role

We are looking for a Tech Lead who will drive the development and evolution of our complex technology platform. You will join the Platform Team consisting of 6 DevOps Engineers, 1 Tech Lead, and 1 Team Lead --- a team playing a critical role in scaling, securing, and stabilizing the entire product ecosystem.

  • Remote with mandatory on‑site presence in our client's Hamburg office once per month.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Mentoring, support, and setting the technical direction for the team.

Architecture & Design

  • Co‑creating and evolving the platform architecture to align with business goals, scalability requirements, and industry trends.

Development

  • Leading development of key platform features, modules, components, and integrations.

Technical Roadmap

  • Ownership of the technical roadmap, identifying innovation opportunities, reducing technical debt, and planning the platform's long‑term direction.

Collaboration

  • Cross‑team collaboration with product, infrastructure, operations, and security teams.

Technical Excellence

  • Solving complex technical issues and ensuring platform stability, security, and high performance.
  • Performance optimization by identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
  • Risk management in architecture, security, and platform operations.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Strong technical background and hands‑on experience with technologies listed in the Tech Stack.
  • Practical experience designing and maintaining complex, large‑scale platforms.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and make architectural decisions that shape the system's evolution.

Leadership & Communication

  • Experience leading a team --- mentoring, guiding technical direction, supporting team members' growth.
  • Excellent communication skills --- ability to present technical topics clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Scalability planning, roadmap creation, and innovation planning.
