Head of Sales | HR Tech SaaS | Berlin

Location: Berlin (team meet-ups required; candidates outside Berlin should be able to travel to Berlin at least 2× per month)

💰 Compensation & Perks

  • OTE: €265K (60/40 split)
  • Uncapped commission

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mid-Market Account Executives
  • Scale the German team
  • Act as a player-coach supporting complex deals and negotiations
  • Collaborate closely with SDRs, marketing, and GTM leadership
  • Own forecasting, pipeline health, and performance tracking
  • Improve sales processes and productivity as the team scales
  • Hire, onboard, and ramp new AEs
  • Bring the team together regularly in Berlin

🧩 What You Bring

  • 3 years SaaS sales experience
  • 1 year leadership experience (Sales Manager or Team Lead)
  • Strong understanding of HR / HCM / payroll ecosystem
  • Background from HR tech vendors or similar SaaS environments
  • Proven ability to scale teams and drive market expansion
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong coaching ability
  • Native German and fluent English

Nice to Have:

  • Startup or scale-up experience
  • Experience building teams in new markets
  • Background selling HR / HCM / payroll platforms
