Sales Executive -- New Business (Logistics SaaS)

The opportunity

For an international Logistics SaaS provider , we are looking for a Sales Executive to focus exclusively on new business acquisition in the German-speaking market.

This is a 100% hunting role with full ownership of the sales cycle. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline, closing new customers, and driving revenue growth. Once a deal is closed, accounts are handed over to a dedicated Account Management team --- allowing you to stay focused on winning new business.

What you'll be doing

  • Acquire new customers within the logistics and supply chain space
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close
  • Proactively build and manage your own pipeline
  • Collaborate with BDR support while remaining accountable for pipeline creation
  • Close deals with an average ARR of €35K--€60K
  • Manage relatively short sales cycles of 1--3 months
  • Ensure a smooth handover to Account Management after closing

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of SaaS sales experience in a hunting / new business role
  • Background can include a combination of SDR and AE experience
  • At least 2 years of closing experience
  • Strong hunter mindset: proactive, resilient, and high-energy
  • Proven success in new logo acquisition
  • Stable career history with good tenure (no frequent job hopping)
  • Fluent German and strong professional English

Nice to have

  • Experience or knowledge of Logistics SaaS, Supply Chain, or Transport technology
  • Additional commercial or enterprise sales experience

What's on offer

  • Base salary: €75,000 -- €80,000
  • Variable compensation: up to €40,000
  • Company car or car allowance (approx. €650 per month)
