About the Role

DMS Digitale Mess- und Steuersysteme GmbH, part of Bosch Energy and Building Solutions since July 2024, develops the powerful OpenLS6000 control system for demanding building automation – used worldwide across various industries.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for you: a dedicated individual with a passion for high-quality software, enjoyment of technological challenges, and a desire to actively shape the future of building automation.

Your Responsibilities:

• Further development and maintenance of our OpenLS6000 control system for reliable use in factories and buildings worldwide.
• Contribution to software architectures and technical concepts to keep our solution future-proof and powerful.
• Analysis and optimization of the existing codebase (in the future, also with the help of AI) to continuously improve performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Integration and further development of communication protocols, network interfaces, and database systems.
• Close collaboration with colleagues from development, product management, and support to develop practical solutions and share knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience and Know-how: Several years of experience in C++ programming (5+ years), ideally including MFC; ideally knowledge in C#/.NET; understanding of multi-threading and distributed systems; experience with databases and SQL; communication protocols and network programming (e.g., OPC-UA, Modbus, BACnet).
• Personality and Work Style: Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment of understanding complex systems; composure and solution-orientation when dealing with established codebases; independent, structured way of working combined with team spirit; very good communication and documentation skills.
• Languages: Good German and English skills.
