Your Role at tonies
As a Marketing & Product Portfolio Analyst (all genders), you will transform data into strategic insights that shape the future of our product portfolio in the DACH region. You will work closely with cross-functional and international teams, ensuring growth, profitability, and market relevance are aligned through your analyses. Through sound market analyses, you will identify trends, customer needs, and competitive developments – deriving measures to further expand customer loyalty, engagement, and brand strength.

Your Responsibilities
- Portfolio Optimization: You will identify growth potentials within our product portfolio and develop initiatives to increase performance and profitability.
- Data-Driven Insights: You will translate performance dashboards and shopper insights (e.g., Circana) into the identification of concrete growth opportunities at the category and product level to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: You will monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitors to foster portfolio innovation and support our strategic planning.
- Post-Launch Analyses: You will define and translate key performance indicators after product launches into actionable recommendations – always with a deep understanding of our customers at the center.
- Portfolio & Pricing Analyses: You will conduct product and product line analyses, modeling cannibalization and incrementality to support data-driven decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams in the DACH region to support successful go-to-market strategies.
- Global Collaboration: You will act as an interface between the DACH market and the central Product, Content, and Licensing teams – analyzing local market needs, providing recommendations, and adapting global strategies to local market conditions.
Your Profile
- A completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management, or a comparable field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with a data and analysis focus in portfolio, product, or marketing management – ideally in the consumer goods or entertainment sector.
- The ability and passion to translate complex data into clear strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
- Strong project management skills and initiative.
- Experience with data sources (e.g., Circana/Tableau).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
