SAP Master Data Manager (m/w/d) - Taunusstein
Requirements
Must have:
- Completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification -- alternatively, a solid commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in master data management, ideally with project responsibility
- Very good knowledge of SAP (MM, SD, or PP) and a deep understanding of processes in procurement, production, and logistics
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, as well as a structured, solution-oriented approach
- Initial leadership experience or strong potential to take on a leadership role -- not a must, but an option
- Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and a confident demeanor in interdisciplinary and international contexts
- Very good German and English skills (C-level)
Responsibilities:
- Strategic project work: You represent the MDM business unit in company-wide projects -- e.g., during the introduction of the new SAP system -- and actively shape the future system and process landscape.
- Conceptual responsibility: You develop new standards and concepts for the creation and maintenance of material master data and ensure their sustainable implementation.
- Quality and process optimization: You analyze existing processes, identify potential for improvement, and implement innovative solutions to increase data quality.
- Optional leadership responsibility: You can fully concentrate on your technical expertise -- or, in the long term, take over the management of a small team if you have leadership experience or wish to develop it.
- Interface management: You work closely with departments such as Marketing, R&D, IT, and international subsidiaries and build a strong internal network.
- Change management & training: You support change processes, develop training concepts, and ensure the sustainable integration of new standards.
