Key Responsibilities
- Support the safe and efficient technical management of assigned cruise vessels in line with contractual requirements
- Assist in monitoring machinery and equipment performance and support the implementation of corrective actions
- Support the planning, coordination, and follow‑up of maintenance and repair activities
- Assist in forecasting technical needs, spare parts requirements, and training demands
- Support the handling and follow‑up of technical issues, ensuring timely communication with relevant stakeholders
- Assist in ensuring vessel certification compliance and the implementation of regulatory updates
- Support planning, execution, and follow‑up of dry‑dockings and major repair projects
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of technical budgets (OPEX & CAPEX) and cost control activities
- Participate in vessel visits, inspections, and audits, supporting reporting and follow‑up actions
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent, or Chief Engineer / Officer qualification
- Sailing experience as a technical or engineering officer, preferably on cruise vessels
- Shore‑based experience in technical ship management is an advantage but not mandatory
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of vessel technical systems and marine regulations
- Good planning and coordination skills
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support multiple stakeholders
- Structured working style with attention to detail
- Proficiency in English
- General PC literacy
