This includes the central architecture, planning, and operation of the internal operational data centers, including the interface with property management, as well as the integration of external data centers. The scope of duties includes the support of the server and storage/backup infrastructure as well as the operational monitoring of all system environments. An important task within the department is also the cross-location system harmonization and consolidation.\n\n### Your Responsibilities Include:\n\n* Working in cross-location teams for storage and backup systems\n* Planning, configuration, administration, and control of SAN system environments or data backup systems (backup) in the data center area\n* Participation in the process of merging storage system environments and backup environments at the locations\n\n### What You Bring:\n\n* You have completed a university degree (Bachelor/FH-Diplom) in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, or engineering, or a comparable field, with a grade of at least "good".\n\nOR\n\n* You have completed a university degree (Bachelor/FH-Diplom) in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, or engineering, or a comparable field, with a grade of at least "satisfactory" and absolutely have at least five years of relevant professional experience in the data center environment.\n\nOR\n\n* You have completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration and absolutely have at least five years of relevant professional experience in the data center environment that is comparable in content to a university degree (Bachelor/FH-Diplom).\n* You impress colleagues and external parties with your appreciative approach and your clear, results-oriented methodology.\n* You possess the digital competencies to understand and classify new developments in a digitalization-driven environment.\n* You are open to working in projects or project-like structures and ideally have experience in agile working methods.\n* You have good knowledge of the English language.\n* You meet the requirements of § 7 para. 1 of the Federal Civil Service Act / § 3 para. 1.1 TVöD-V, in particular, you are a national of a member state of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland and are willing to uphold the free democratic basic order.\n* You agree to an extended security check according to § 9 SÜG.\n* You absolutely possess knowledge of the German language at least at level C1 GER.\n\nAdvantageous are:\n\n* In-depth knowledge in the use of SAN storage systems or data backup environments in the data center environment.\n* Experience in the area of Unix systems in the data center environment.\n\nWe require that you are willing to undertake business trips.
