International IT Controller (m/f/d) - Corporate Environment - Cologne

The team is currently expanding, and the position has been newly created, offering a great entry point into a group-wide IT environment for well-developing candidates.

Responsibilities

• Support and participation in the annual IT budget and forecast process in close cooperation with the business units and international entities
• Controlling of IT costs and investments at group and country level
• Participation in the calculation of IT project costs, including maintenance and updating of valuation bases
• Support in internal cost allocation as well as invoice checking and processing
• Preparation and follow-up of analyses, decision-making bases, and presentations for IT management
• Participation in the further development of controlling and reporting tools, as well as creation of ad-hoc analyses
• Optional – depending on experience: supporting activities in the IT project or project portfolio environment (time, cost, quality)

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable commercial apprenticeship with a controlling focus
• First to several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally with an IT focus
• Basic understanding of IT structures and interrelationships
• Very confident use of Excel, initial experience with reporting tools is an advantage
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Confluence, MS Project, or similar) is desirable, but not essential
• Very good German and good English skills
• Structured, independent way of working, and enjoyment of numbers and analyses

Please note: This position requires fluent German language skills (spoken and written), as German is the primary working language in this role. Applications without the required German proficiency cannot be considered.
