Your Role: (Junior) Business Automation Engineer (w/m/d)

As a (Junior) Business Automation Engineer (w/m/d), you'll be part of the Product Team, actively shaping how processes are optimized and automated internally, with a strong focus on technical automation and the use of AI.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing business processes across various departments, understand how work is done, and identify specific automation and optimization potential.
• Design and implement end-to-end automations, from simple workflows to more complex, AI-powered processes.
• Develop and operate automations for support bots and AI applications (e.g., LLM-based use cases).
• Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Support, and Operations to sustainably reduce manual workflows.
• Implement technical automations using common process automation solutions like Zapier and AWS Lambda.
• Take ownership of cross-functional projects to make internal workflows, data flows, and communication more efficient.

Your Qualifications:

• An analytical, curious, and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for questioning and improving processes.
• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field.
• Solid technical knowledge and practical experience with JavaScript and/or Python.
• Initial experience in process automation or a strong interest in the field.
• Basic knowledge of database systems, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Interest in or initial experience with artificial intelligence and modern AI systems.
• Confident communication skills in German and English, and a collaborative spirit.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with APIs, webhooks, and cross-system integrations.
• Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools and workflow platforms.
• Experience in building or optimizing support or service automations.
• Experience in SaaS, product-oriented, or consulting environments.
• Initial exposure to regulated industries (e.g., finance, legal, healthcare).
