Senior Accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d)

Your Future Tasks:

  • Responsibility for the independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Support in the monthly preparation of the Financial Reporting Package using OneStream software.
  • Independent preparation of sales tax advance returns and participation in the preparation of annual tax returns.
  • Ensuring monthly control, preparation, and clarification of balance sheet account reconciliations for the supervised companies.
  • First point of contact (internal and external) for all processes and accounting issues in the general ledger area.
  • Active collaboration with the Shared Service Center within your own area of responsibility.
  • Taking responsibility for a significant accounting process.
  • Participation in and leadership of projects for system implementation, process optimization, etc.

What We Expect From You:

  • Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance / Accounting / Controlling / Financial Management, or a commercial apprenticeship with further training, e.g., as a Bilanzbuchhalter / International Accountant (m/f/d).
  • Several years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Very good knowledge of IFRS; HGB is an advantage.
  • Experience with general ledger accounting in Switzerland is desirable.
  • Confident use of MS Office; JD Edwards is an advantage.
  • Very good German and English skills (written/spoken); French is a plus.
  • Independent, structured, stress-resistant, self-motivated, committed.
