About the Role

As the Head of Liquidity you will be responsible for accelerating adoption of the CLL platform by DeFi and TradFi asset issuers by providing liquidity as a service to both help close deals and generate flywheel effects within the CLL ecosystem of protocols, issuers and chains. This role requires a deep understanding of liquidity providers already operating within the web3 space, as well as a creativity and strategic mindset to source, cultivate and close deals with new sources of liquidity. You will be the owner of liquidity providers (e.g. market makers, chain foundations) and play a key role as a SME during deal discussions with asset issuers to help guide them towards CLL partner liquidity sources and shut out any competitor offerings.

Experience/Skills

Must Have

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in liquidity sourcing or provision with an expert understanding of the role liquidity plays in the growth and adoption of digital assets
  • Experience working for or with liquidity sources in web3 or TradFi, with a deep understanding of and relationships with key players that manage liquidity flow in web3
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and the broader Web3 ecosystem

Should Have

  • Commercial Acumen: Was responsible for developing, negotiating and closing major deals related to liquidity
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective market development strategies.

Nice to Have

  • Tokenization industry experience - have a strong understanding of the Institutional RWA landscape and/or digital asset management, including an understanding of liquidity flow for RWAs
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Must Have

  • Excellent Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Work Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless execution of institutional DeFi initiatives
  • Business acumen: Understanding of business drivers of various participants and experience putting together multi-partite deals
  • Education: Minimum Bachelors Degree or equivalent certification, MA preferred.

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and a desire to build something new.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for institutional DeFi.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and discuss technical aspects of blockchain technology and DeFi protocols.

Nice to Have

  • Represent the Company: Attend industry events and conferences to represent CLL and build brand awareness within the institutional DeFi space
  • Located in EMEA or AMERS timezones
