Role Overview

The Senior Accountant role owns the end-to-end accounting for Chaos GmbH and acts as Global Process Owner (GPO) for intercompany and transfer pricing. This role works closely with colleagues across our global business, bringing both technical rigour and a process-improvement mindset to enable our business to move fast and operate at scale.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own the full accounting cycle for Chaos GmbH, including general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and monthly/quarterly/annual close in line with HGB and group reporting requirements.
  • Serve as primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and statutory filings.
  • Manage local treasury and payment cycles in coordination with Chaos's group finance team.
  • Define and maintain global standards for transfer pricing working with teams across Chaos's international entities to harmonise workflows, close process gaps, and drive automation in NetSuite and connected finance tools.
  • Actively manage the intercompany and transfer pricing positions across the group, working directly with external advisors in relation to the technical tax aspects of transfer pricing to ensure in line with legislation.
  • Support the Accounting Director with process improvement across finance. Suggest opportunities and ways of improving overall efficiencies and improved ways of working to enable a culture of optimisation.
