Our client is a leading international group within the entertainment industry, with headquarters in Germany. They employ approximately 15,000 people globally and generate multi-billion Euro revenues annually. One of the companies within this group is the leading casino operator in Germany, and within their portfolio they operate 10 state-licensed casinos in Niedersachsen.
Our client is now looking to hire a Senior IT System Administrator who will play a key role in actively shaping the IT landscape across these 10 venues in Niedersachsen. You will be part of the team who are responsible for an extensive IT environment---from the data centre all the way to the casino floor. In this role, you are not just an administrator -- you are a co‑creator!
Your Responsibilities:

- Design, further develop, and operate our IT infrastructure
- Administer and optimize Linux and virtualization environments
- Ensure high availability and IT security
- Monitor and automate IT processes
- Take technical responsibility for defined system areas
- Manage external service providers
- Contribute to infrastructure projects and ongoing development
Our Technologies:
- Windows and Linux servers
- Microsoft 365, Azure (hybrid)
- Automation using PowerShell, Python, Shell
- Matrix42 for ITSM & Asset Management
Your Profile:
- Several years of experience operating IT infrastructures
- Solid knowledge of networking, Linux, and virtualization
- Experience with automation and scripting
- Enjoy structured work and sustainable solutions
- Strong communication skills and a hands‑on mentality
- Fluent in German and English, spoken and written
- Class B driver's license (for site visits)
