About The Role

As a C# Backend Developer, your main focus will be the development of scalable, high-performance, and secure server logic --- particularly in the areas of payment processing and fraud prevention. With your basic frontend knowledge, you'll understand the interface between backend and frontend, helping to create smooth, high-performing end-to-end solutions.

Your background

• 3--5 years of experience in C#/.NET (.NET 8 ) development, ideally in a payment or eCommerce environment
• Experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar) and RESTful APIs
• Solid SQL skills for data analysis are a plus
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, etc.)
• Basic familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue is a plus
• Interest in new technologies, clean code, and agile software development
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Team player mentality with a sense of ownership and responsibility

Your responsibilities

• Develop and enhance modules in C#/.NET for our eCommerce/payment platform
• Integrate APIs, external services, and databases (mainly Oracle and PostgreSQL)
• Contribute to design decisions for scalable backend systems
• Ensure code quality through reviews, automated testing, and clean code principles
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA, and frontend colleagues within the team
• Support frontend tasks when needed (e.g., simple UI adjustments, optimizing interfaces)
