Your mission
As part of our Operations team, you will serve as the backbone for data-intensive applications. We operate a hybrid infrastructure: high-availability enterprise storage meets modern software-defined storage solutions. You will ensure stability, scale our customers' environments, and drive automation—all within an environment where data confidentiality is paramount.
- Ensuring Operations: Administration and troubleshooting of our storage infrastructure (NetApp MetroCluster and Ceph / Rook).
- Cloud Integration: Provisioning storage services for Kubernetes and OpenStack (Manila & Swift).
- Automation: Continuous optimization of operational processes using Ansible (Infrastructure as Code).
- Service continuity: Participating in a rotating on-call schedule (up to one week per month) to ensure the high availability of our systems.
- Incident management: Analyzing and resolving issues in 2nd and 3rd level support while adhering to strict VS-NfD guidelines.
Your profile
- Core Expertise: You have at least 2 years of solid experience in administering either NetApp MetroCluster or Ceph.
- Willingness to Learn: You are willing to familiarize yourself with the other technology (NetApp or Ceph) as well as with Kubernetes and OpenStack.
- Security & Trust: You are willing to undergo a security clearance (SÜ2). Handling confidential information (VS-NfD) responsibly is second nature to you.
- Availability: Taking on on-call duties (approx. one week per month) is compatible with your personal life.
- Automation: Practical experience working with Ansible is a plus.
