Software Engineer (m/f/d) - Rhineland-Palatinate

About the Role

As a Backend Developer (Elixir), you will play a key role in developing and evolving the core services of a cloud-based SaaS platform used by international enterprise customers. You will design and implement new backend features, optimise existing services for scalability and performance, and collaborate closely with frontend engineers to build robust APIs and integrations.

You will contribute to architectural discussions, help shape event-driven components, and ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices. This is a product-focused environment where engineering quality and long-term maintainability are prioritised.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Hands-on experience with Event-Driven Architecture
• Knowledge of Event Sourcing and CQRS
• Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
• Confidence working with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tooling

Salary

€55,000 - €80,000 + Bonus + Benefits
