About the role

As a Servity Developer (d/f/m), you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing ITSM solutions on the DCON Servity platform. You will be a valued member of our IT Service Management delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical experts to ensure scalable, efficient, and high‑quality ITSM operations.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and configure solutions on the Servity ITSM platform.
  • Customize core ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, and Hardware/Software Asset Management.
  • Develop workflows, forms, business rules, and interfaces.
  • Build integrations with procurement tools and vendor portals such as HP, Dell, and Lenovo.
  • Support enhancements, bug fixes, and platform optimization activities.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
  • Perform unit testing and support UAT activities.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Provide operational support throughout the contract period.

Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Stuttgart. What you need to have to be considered

  • Proven experience in Servity development (DCON OEM platform).
  • Strong background with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, Remedy).
  • Solid knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request Management).
  • Hands‑on experience with configuration, scripting, and integrations.
  • Ability to work independently in a contract‑based setup.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

These will help you stand out

  • Prior experience with DCON Servity implementations.
  • ITIL certification (Foundation or higher).
  • Experience working in European enterprise environments.
  • German language skills (nice to have).
