  • We are looking for: Support in the area of Customer Engagement to look after our customers and ensure tax quality in the Amazon and VAT context.
  • Product focus: Amainvoice (VAT & Amazon compliance solution)
  • We offer: 40-hour week, 30 days of vacation, 100% remote & flexible working hours based on a permanent employment contract
  • We pay: between 40,000 and 45,000 Euros gross annual salary, depending on professional experience and prior knowledge in the mentioned task areas

THIS IS YOUR JOB

  • Customer service & technical advice: As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you are the central point of contact for our customers, focusing on tax quality and sound process understanding. You will support them with Amazon accounting, VAT, and EU matters, assist with onboarding, and advise on complex tax issues. In doing so, you ensure that tax issues in the Amazon and marketplace context are mapped correctly and comprehensibly.
  • Analysis & optimization: You regularly analyze existing customer setups, for example, with regard to seller or vendor accounts, OSS, EU countries, or Amazon reports. You identify optimization potential in processes, modules, and the use of our solutions, derive concrete recommendations for action, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
  • Interface work & collaboration: You work closely with our product and support teams, as well as external tax experts, to clarify technical requirements and develop sustainable solutions. You actively contribute to the further development of our internal processes.
  • Knowledge building & best practices: You actively contribute your knowledge to the further development of our FAQs, knowledge base, and best practices, helping to ensure that our know-how is structured, documented, and accessible to everyone.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

  • Qualification: You have completed training as a tax assistant (Steuerfachangestellte:r), tax expert (Steuerfachwirt:in), or have a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience: You have several years of professional experience in the tax field. Ideally, you have already gained experience in looking after customers or clients.
  • Technical knowledge: You are proficient in topics such as OSS, EU VAT, and platform taxation. Ideally, you also have experience in the e-commerce environment, particularly with Amazon or other marketplaces.
  • Work style: You work in a structured, careful, and solution-oriented manner. You maintain an overview even with complex issues and set priorities clearly and comprehensibly.
  • Communication skills: You enjoy direct exchange with customers and can clearly and understandably convey complex or explanatory topics. You are fluent in spoken and written German. Ideally, you also have good English skills.
