AD Architectural Digest Germany is seeking a Junior Editorial Designer to support the visual design of the magazine and its digital channels. The role requires sophisticated editorial design with a sense of contemporary brand aesthetics and high precision in the production workflow, reporting directly to the Head of Editorial Content AD Germany in Munich.
Your Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of layouts for print & digital according to art direction guidelines.
- Creation of visual concepts, image selection, image editing, and retouching.
- Creation of assets for social media, web, video, and brand extensions.
- Ensuring AD design standards in typography, imagery, and proportions.
- Final artwork, print data preparation, and close collaboration with production.
- Maintenance of sample pages, data archive, and organization in the editorial system (e.g., K4).
- Continuous coordination with the editorial team, visual editors, and senior art direction.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training or degree in graphic/communication design or a related field; ideally, initial editorial experience (1-2 years).
- Strong eye for typography, imagery, and interior/design aesthetics.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
- High precision, organizational talent, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative, solution-oriented approach, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
