About ConfidentialMind
ConfidentialMind is a private AI platform for enterprises that enables organizations to deploy and run large language models securely with their own data. Our Kubernetes-based platform provides ready-to-use AI systems including LLM serving, RAG, and agents, all accessible through OpenAI-compatible APIs and deployed entirely within the customer's environment: on-premises, private cloud, air-gapped, public cloud, or the edge.
We serve customers in healthcare, finance, the public sector, and other regulated industries where data sovereignty is a hard requirement. We work with partners including Dell, Fujitsu, NVIDIA, and Red Hat to deliver secure AI infrastructure across deployment environments.
Our team is based in Espoo, Finland and San Francisco, California. We are a small, focused team of infrastructure and AI engineers building the foundation for private, self-hosted enterprise AI.
About the role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified pipeline in Germany, one of our highest-priority markets. You will be responsible for identifying, researching, and engaging enterprise prospects in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and the public sector, and booking qualified meetings for our Account Executives.
This is a foundational hire. You will be among the first dedicated sales team members in the DACH region and will play a key role in building ConfidentialMind's outbound pipeline engine in Germany. You will work closely with the Account Executive team, the Head of Sales, and the CEO to develop prospecting strategies, refine messaging, and identify enterprise and public-sector organizations that need on-premises or private cloud AI infrastructure for data sovereignty and compliance reasons.
This is a remote-first role based in Germany. You may travel occasionally to attend industry events and visit our headquarters in Espoo, Finland. We are a seed-stage company backed by leading investors, and you will be joining at a stage where your work has an outsized impact on the company's trajectory.
In this role, you will
- Research and identify target accounts in Germany across regulated industries including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, automotive, and the public sector, building prioritized prospect lists aligned with our ideal customer profile
- Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns including cold calling, personalized email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and event-based follow-ups to generate qualified meetings with enterprise decision-makers
- Engage IT leaders, CISOs, CDOs, and other senior stakeholders in initial conversations to understand their AI infrastructure and data sovereignty needs, and qualify opportunities against our ideal customer profile
- Craft compelling, personalized outreach messaging tailored to different industries and personas in the German market, iterating based on response rates and feedback
- Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated interest, ensuring a smooth and timely handoff of sales-qualified opportunities to Account Executives
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs and provide context on prospect needs, organizational structure, and key stakeholders
- Leverage partner ecosystems including Dell, Fujitsu, and NVIDIA to identify warm introductions and co-prospecting opportunities into enterprise accounts
- Share prospect insights, market feedback, and competitive intelligence with the product and leadership team to inform positioning and go-to-market strategy for the German market
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across Germany and Europe to generate leads and build relationships with potential buyers
- Maintain accurate prospect data and activity metrics in the CRM, and contribute to refining our outbound playbook as we scale the go-to-market organization
You might thrive in this role if you
You have experience in outbound prospecting or sales development, ideally targeting enterprise buyers in Germany. You understand how German organizations evaluate technology and you are comfortable reaching out to senior stakeholders including IT leaders, CISOs, and CDOs to start meaningful conversations.
You are energized by building something from scratch. You don't need a fully built outbound machine to be productive. You are comfortable developing your own prospect lists, testing new outreach approaches, and iterating on messaging until it generates results.
You have strong technical curiosity and can quickly learn enough about AI infrastructure, data privacy, and enterprise IT to hold credible initial conversations with technical buyers. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to understand the buyer's world well enough to ask the right questions and position a follow-up meeting with an Account Executive.
You thrive in a startup environment where speed, resourcefulness, and direct feedback loops with the founding team are the norm. You care about hitting your activity and meeting targets, but you also care about building a repeatable prospecting engine that scales beyond your individual contribution.
Qualifications
- 1--3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales, ideally in B2B technology, infrastructure software, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, or AI/ML
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation targets in an outbound prospecting role
- Experience prospecting into regulated industries in Germany such as healthcare, financial services, automotive, manufacturing, or the public sector is a plus
- Native or business-fluent German and professional English proficiency
- Interest in and basic understanding of enterprise IT buying processes and how large organizations evaluate new technology
- Technical curiosity and the ability to understand and articulate concepts around AI infrastructure, data sovereignty, and on-premises deployment
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo) and a disciplined approach to activity tracking and pipeline management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal structure and high autonomy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages that resonate with enterprise buyers
- Previous experience at a startup or early-stage company is a plus
- Existing network of contacts in German enterprise IT, data, or AI leadership roles is a plus
