Job Description:

We are a leading global digital media and entertainment company, producing positive, engaging, and original content in 17 languages for all age groups. Our well-known brands include the award-winning art and pop culture magazine Bored Panda and top DIY channels like Crafty Panda. We combat global boredom at an unprecedented scale, achieving 160 million page views per month and 62 billion video views annually.

Your Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D animations that align with the theme, style, and tone of the Fire Spike project.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Animator to ensure consistent execution of the creative vision.
• Contribute ideas and creative solutions throughout all stages of the production process.
• Optimize animation workflows with a clear understanding of content purpose, performance, and impact.
• Deliver animations that meet high-quality standards and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Your Profile:

We are seeking a Senior 2D Animator to join our animation team as a freelance, on-demand collaborator. You should be passionate about bringing characters and stories to life through animation and enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment.

• Proven experience working on animation projects (experience in children's media is a strong advantage).
• Excellent command of Moho (mandatory) with solid 2D animation skills.
• Strong understanding of all stages of the video production process.
• Genuine passion for animated children's content and storytelling.
• Creativity, resourcefulness, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams.
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Advanced level of English.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator is considered an asset.
• Experience working with sound and SFX is a plus.
• Experience creating visual effects (VFX) is a plus.

Compensation:

• 3 USD per second of animation.
• A 1 USD per second bonus for on-time delivery and high-quality work.
