In this role, you will be responsible for turning business strategy into well-defined, prioritized features and ensuring they're delivered successfully.
Your Responsibilities
The role spans four key areas:
Product Strategy & Planning
- Contribute to and communicate the product vision aligned with Crewmeister's mission
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify feature gaps and differentiation opportunities
- Prioritize features by balancing customer needs, business value, and development effort
- Maintain a clear, well-organized feature planning board
- Operate within an AI-first workflow to continuously optimize output
Product Requirements & Design Collaboration
- Create comprehensive product requirements documents (PRDs) with clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with UX/UI on design specifications, providing business context while ensuring solutions are feasible and user-friendly
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to align on expectations
Product Delivery & Launch
- Support the delivery team during development, refining specs and ensuring quality standards
- Plan and coordinate roll-outs with Product Marketing (go-to-market) and Engineering (technical readiness)
Customer Understanding
- Process incoming feedback and conduct user research (surveys, interviews, data analysis)
- Monitor user behavior through analytics to identify improvement opportunities
- Translate insights into product enhancements that drive engagement and satisfaction
What you'll bring to the team
- 2 years in a Product Manager/Owner role.
- Understanding of software development, including End-to-end feature ownership.
- Experience working with a software or SaaS product.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Completed tech degree or similar.
- Experience in the DACH market.
- First experiences working in a small business.
- Endless curiosity about technology and understanding user needs, and are constantly pushing for better.
- Eagerness and ability to use AI tools to optimize workflows, increasing output quality and quantity.
- Familiarity with agile values and both the Kanban and scrum methodology.
- Ability to create clear, actionable user stories and slice complex epics into work that Engineering can execute confidently and independently.
- Quick thinking and an analytical data-driven mindset.
- Excellent organization skills and a great eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English. Strong knowledge of German is not required, but considered a major plus.
